What are the benefits of a massage?

Regular massage will help with chronic pain, limited mobility, recovery from injuries (ex. Whiplash, falls, sports injuries), repetitive strain injury such as carpal tunnel syndrome, postural problems, Osteoarthritis pain, Fibromyalgia, muscle tension or spasms.

Will my massage be covered by insurance benefits?

Please contact your insurance provider to see what type of massage benefits you have. Every plan is different and therefore we cannot be held accountable for knowing your benefit plan. We also suggest asking them if your Registered Massage Therapist requires a certain amount of hours for you to be covered.

Do you offer direct billing?

Yes, we offer direct billing to Alberta Blue Cross, ASEBP, Green Shield, Wawanesa, Great West Life, Sun Life, Manulife, Maximum Benefit, Chamber of Commerce, Cowan, Standard Life, Equitable Life and Co-operators. Not every therapist can offer direct billing, please inquire during your booking to ensure you are correctly booked with the therapist your insurance company requires.

Blue Cross, ASEBP, Manulife, Great West Life & Sun Life Clients

Please advise when booking your massage if your insurance company is Blue Cross, ASEBP, Great West Life, Manulife or Sunlife. These companies have made recent changes to their requirements and you may have to see a RMT with 2200 hrs for your claim to be processed.

Doctor Referral Notes

Please submit your doctor referral notes directly to your insurance benefit provider. We do not require you to have one in order to have a massage. We also cannot forward them to your insurance provider.

Cancer or other terminal disorders

Please advise us during booking if you have been diagnosed with any type of severe illness.  Please have a doctor’s note ready for our therapists to see, however please be advised that our massage therapists may turn away service for any health or safety concerns.
